Teeth Whitening

Tooth whitening is an inexpensive cosmetic procedure that can have

dramatic lasting effects on your smile. By whitening your teeth, you can

change your smile from a dull, plain look to a bright, vibrant look in just a

short period of time. It is important to note however, that your teeth and

gums must be healthy prior to bleaching your teeth.

We offer two types of whitening products in our office. Your first bleaching

option at our office is the Professional Crest White Strips. We now offer

this in our office due to popular demand as it is a less expensive option for

tooth whitening. The professional brand of Crest White Strips offers two

times the strength as the kits in the stores. The strips are also longer

extending back to your molar regions for full smile whitening. The strips

are indicated for persons with white teeth that are looking for subtle

changes or touch ups in shade. For best results, your teeth should be

straight so that the strips can better adapt to your teeth. This option is a

great way to whiten your teeth before going out or for a special event.

However, if you are looking for more dramatic results then custom tray

bleaching is the way to go.

Custom tray bleaching is the second option of bleaching that we offer in our

office. Using this bleaching system, you can expect multiple shade

changes to achieve the whitest possible smile for your teeth. It involves

having impressions taken of your teeth and having custom trays made for

your teeth. The trays carry the bleach and allow it to penetrate into all

surfaces of your teeth. The trays also hold the bleach in position during

bleaching and protect your soft tissue from the bleaching material. It takes

approximately 2 weeks of bleaching to achieve multiple shade results and

the results are long lasting. Another benefit of tray bleaching is that you

can keep your trays and touch up at any time.
