Dr. Mike and Dr. Jim form a unique “father and son” dental team. Dr. Mike graduated from University of Detroit Mercy Dental School in 1975. He brings many years of experience and knowledge to their practice. He has won many awards throughout his career including being named one of America’s Top Dentists for Cosmetic Dentistry. He truly enjoys dentistry and working with his son, Dr. Jim. This has encouraged Dr. Mike to continue practicing part-time. He continues to further his knowledge in dentistry and introduce new technologies and techniques to their practice.
Dr. Jim joined his dad in practice in 2006 after graduating from the University of Michigan. Dr. Jim graduated with top honors from his class, earning several awards in dentistry. He took over his father’s practice in 2008 and has since grown the practice immensely. He has brought in many new technologies and techniques to their practice and has enjoyed learning from his father. They work together extremely well as a team and enjoy doing so. Both of the doctors are members of the American, Michigan, and Macomb Dental Associations and continue to educate themselves to help improve patient care.
The Jostock Dental Staff are extremely friendly, gentle and well educated. Once you get to know them, you will find that it makes your dental experience so much easier. Many of their staff have been with the practice for 5 or more years. Saska, Laura, Rose and Marie are dental hygienist that strive to help patients maintain and improve their oral health. Jenni and Kathy work closely with the doctors, keeping patients comfortable chair side. They are extremely knowledgeable and help make make dental visits as comfortable as possible. Brian, Valerie, and Wendy operate the front office. They are excellent assisting you with all of your insurance, appointment, and billing needs.
